Imagine yourself in the virtual asphalt globe on a bright day, equipped with your dependable gadget. When you press the “start race” button, you are instantly thrust into a universe where the rules of physics are broken and gravity takes a vacation!
Oh boy! In Asphalt 8, we didn’t only run into obstacles; we also shot up into the air! In a tuned sports vehicle, you’d fly through the air like a superhero. I believe I once saw a bird give me a high-five!
Not to mention the antics! With greater strength and less clown makeup, it was similar to being in a circus.
The racecourses themselves were like a mash-up of every fantasy racetrack a young person might conjure. You may be weaving through Tokyo’s neon-lit streets one moment and racing over the sweltering Nevada desert the next. It like a nitrous oxide globe tour!
However, everything wasn’t sunshine and rainbows. No, Asphalt 8 has its difficulties. Those challenging curves and constricting bends were like puzzles designed to test your racing prowess. However, we were adamant. In an effort to win the title of greatest Asphalt champion, we would update our vehicles, tune the engines, and apply some sleek new paint jobs.
Then there were the competing racers. They resembled the antagonists from our own racing story.
It was in the multiplayer mode that rivalries and friendships first emerged. When we engaged in high-speed battles with our friends, we would shout and giggle as we left them in our pixelated wake.
Do you still get excited when you open a new car? It was similar to Christmas morning but with far more strength. We would gawk at their svelte machines and envision all the fantastic races we would win with them. It was a dream-filled garage that was prepared to hit the road.
