Me and my closest buddy, Beatrice (but I call her Bee for short, like a buzzing bee!), were confined in a room yesterday! Not by a grouchy grown-up, however. This time, it was on purpose!
We went to this extremely fantastic facility called an escape room. It’s like a fake journey where you need discover clues and solve puzzles to escape before the time runs out. Our room resembled a pirate ship (arrr!), and Bee even sported an eye patch (it was just her swimsuit one!).
We climbed through hidden hatches, ran after phony riches , and even unlocked a treasure box with a hard lock . We fled with seconds to spare, sweaty but victorious!
It was considerably more exciting than being trapped in my room by mistake. Maybe next time we can escape from a forest or a spacecraft!
