Dear Diary, You know what the coolest girl in school—me, of course—just got? a top-secret, fantastic game known as Jungle: 1998! The name alone is enough to make my head swim; it sounds like a Tarzan movie gone awry. But believe me when I say that this game is amazing! For all your romantic drama requirements, Jungle: 1998 is the place to go (forget about boring Barbies!).
First things first: decisions are EVERYTHING in this game. You get to choose your ideal guy and be this adorable lady who absolutely looks like me but has far better hair! There are essentially three options:
The Mysterious Bad Boy, Takuya: This man has eyes that could melt glaciers and spikey hair that would make a porcupine envious. It’s kind of dreamy how moody and secretive he seems. I just have to make sure he’s not some kind of vampire or anything!
The charming sports star, Hiro: Alright, so Hiro is essentially a walking protein drink commercial. He has a grin that could light up a disco ball and muscles that go on forever. In addition, he leads the soccer team, which is almost a certain way to become well-known.
Kaito, the Artist of Genius: Put jocks out of your mind—artists are in! Kaito wears colorful scarves that give him a pirate-like appearance, and he paints these insane fantastic drawings that make your head hurt. A cool pirate with a hidden treasure map to your heart, not a terrifying one!
Really, how am I expected to make a decision? It’s similar to selecting your favorite ice cream flavor—you want them all! But the best part of Jungle (1998) is that you can go through the narrative with EVERY GUY! How about making the most of your opportunities to live a happily ever after?
The visuals are also rather lovely. Not like some of the pixelated monsters you see on games, but more like those awesome TV anime series. Giant sparkling eyes and gravity-defying hair are present. And how much more thrilling could it be with all these vibrant rainforests and busy city streets for the backdrops?
